Making the Sudanese Revolution Work for All

We were hoping the conference will take place in Khartoum Face to Face end of the year 2021 but following the current situation in Sudan as well as the global pandemic, the conference will be organised online. Sudan Knowledge and WASD are very well prepared to organise the conference remotely via video conference technologies from London. In doing so, WASD/SK will use the latest technology in video conferencing from London with participants from all-over the world connecting from homes. The conference objective is to critically analyse the current situation in Sudan after the 2018 revolution and how to fully empower women and engage youth in the future of Sudan and achieving SD. The conference will therefore aims to introduce a variety of fundamental perspectives on entrepreneurship eco-system to help re-building the Sudanese economy and the 17 SDGs after the great Sudanese revolution. It is now clearly recognised that innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as being a central driver of economic growth, are also recognised as very important tools to help achieve SD. 

Target audience: Ordinary citizens, academics, researchers, UN agencies, NGOs, civil society groups, women, youth, students, private sector, business, SMEs, government officials and agencies and other stakeholders.

The conference is expected to brings together researchers, policy makers, educators, consultants and employers from the Sudanese Diaspora around the world to exchange knowledge and experience and discuss recent developments and current challenges in both theory and practice.
